Combined Beacons and Sounders

Combined Beacons and SoundersCombined Beacon and Sounder units integrate a beacon lamp with an audible sounder. These beacons are designed to satisfy the increasing customer demand for a single dual-function warning device.

A wide range of options are available, including 110dB 32-tone IP65 LED Sounder Beacons (ISB-E and ISB-T), as well as 92dB IP54 large format Rotating Mirror units (RFE/B15D +AS), Miniature Xenon Strobe (XTA/2.5J + AS) and the latest ultra-low-power LED units in Pulsed (PSR/ULP-LED +AS and PSS/ULP-LED +AS) and Static (SBR/ULP-LED +AS and SBS/ULP-LED +AS)

versions. Other models are available; please contact your sales point for full details.

The Rotating Mirror, Xenon Strobe and Static LED units can be specified with a Mono-Tone, Pulsed-Tone or Chime-Tone sounder. The Pulsed LED units do not feature a choice of sounders; instead a Mono-Tone device is fitted, producing a pulsed sound following the cadence of the LEDs.

High-grade engineering plastics are used throughout with units featuring UV-stabilised polycarbonate lenses, available in Red, Amber, Green, Blue and Clear.
  • Large format Rotating Mirror version.
  • Mini Static Filament Lamp or Light Emitting Diode (LED), Xenon Flashing, Rotating LED and Pulsed LED.
  • Ultra-low-power LED units with choice of ABS or Cast Aluminium mounting base.
  • All units feature UV-stable polycarbonate lenses, available in Red, Amber, Green, Blue and Clear. LED models in Red, Amber and/or Green only.
  • Continuously rated for permanent operation.
  • Screw terminals allow 2.5mm² connections.
  • 51mm fixing centres suitable for mounting directly onto a standard conduit box.
  • Wall mounting brackets ('MB1' for Steel or 'MB2' for Polycarbonate) available.
  • Pole Mount option (250mm, 500mm, 750mm & 1000mm tall) for Mini devices.
  • 20mm ø entry for moulded compression gland ('PCG') or conduit bush.
