| The Rotating Flashing Beacon is probably considered the traditional type
of warning beacon. As the parabolic mirror revolves around the lamp, an intense beam of
light is projected. This then provides a warning signal capable of cutting through smoke
and dust laden atmospheres and can command attention even when someone is standing with
their back to the beacon. Unique ‘quiet-drive’ system incorporating direct motor/turntable coupling and long life ball-race bearing. Eliminates nuisance of drive belt breakage and reduces drive-train noise. |
